Space Event Day!

What a fantastic time Sunshine Class had today! We explored the Space Theme with a Rocket demonstration with a balloon.

It was so much fun! First we looked at pictures of a rocket and a space shuttle. And then some photos of the moon and an astronaut. We love to sing Zoom Zoom We’re Going To The Moon. The children blast off and jump up with excitement.

But the most fun was watching the ballon rocket go along the string. The children watched the teacher pump up the balloon and then laugh and clap when the balloon was a rocket. It went very fast!
