Art Garden Lesson

Today we had a fabulous Art Lesson with our teacher Miyuki. Our goal and focus today was to use our paintbrush with control and grace. And, WOW, we did so well! Everyone had fun painting, drawing and coloring.

Can you see what we made?

Our first instruction is to draw a garden with garden pots.

What is inside the garden pot? We have dirt, seeds and animals. We drew beetles, and centipedes and butterflies. We even drew our little green sprouts growing out of the garden pot.

Our next focus is paint water from the watering can! We practiced our hand and eye coordination to gently paint the water. The paintbrush goes UP and DOWN. UP and DOWN.
