“SHAPES IN THE CLASSROOM”

 

Learning shapes and colours allows Star Kids to group or classify items.

They develop their ability to make logical connections, a precursor to both

math and language arts. Our favourite activities are  sorting and matching.

 

We learnt songs and chant about shapes too!

~ Do you know what shape this is , What shape this is?

~   Do you know what shape this is, I’m holding in my hand?

 

 

Star Kids practice making the shapes with their hands. Can you make a circle?

How about a diamond? They are very excited to draw the  shapes in the air

with their fingers and look for the shapes around the room.

 

 

Shapes recognition.

Can you find the circle, diamond, square, rectangle, triangle, oval ?

 

Look around .

You will find shapes everywhere!!!
