Insect Day with Sunshine Class!

Insect Day was a blast! We had so much fun! We started out our day by making our very own special spyglasses! Squirrel class needed a little help, but mouse did it almost all on their own!

Afterwards we prepared for a insect hunt! When we were really quiet we could hear the grasshoppers and the cicadas! It got us really excited for the hunt! After wards we did our best to tiptoe and use quiet voices, as to not scare the insects, and went searching for our favorite ones. There were beetles, dragonflies, ladybugs, cicadas, grasshoppers, caterpillars, jumping spiders, and butterflies! When all the insects had been caught, we then did a fun action game and pretended to be the various insects! We can’t wait to search for real insects next summer!
